Playa
Flamenca, on the Southern Costa Blanca, a very popular area
with holidaymakers. 50 minutes drive from Alicante airport,
25 minutes drive from Murcia airport. 15 minutes drive from
Torrevieja town.
Playa Flamenca has a beach and beachside shops. Mercadona supermarket
and a very large commercial complex – Playa Flamenca Commercial
Centre with a variety of bars – English – including
the Rose and Crown and Temple Bar with the Blue’s brothers
3-5 nights a week, Scottish and Irish. Several Chinese restaurants,
The famous Diva Indian restaurant, Pizzeria, Italian, Hungarian,
fish and chip shop, such a variety you can eat here for your
entire holiday and go to a different restaurant every evening.
Off of the N332 you have banks (with cashpoints), large supermarket
Supercor and Lidl.
On a Saturday morning Playa Flamenca holds a street market –
excellent bargains – you name it they sell it - clothes,
shoes, fruit and veg and household items.

Campoverde
Campoverde
– located inland. Appoximately 20 minutes drive from Murcia
airport, 60 minutes from Alicante airport.
Campoverde
has many detached properties with private pools.
Closest beach is a 15 minute drive. Bars, restaurants and supermarkets
in either new or old Campoverde. The town of Pilar de la Horada
is a 10 minute drive.
A car would be essential when staying in this area.
Torrevieja
Torrevieja, south of the Valencian Community on the Costa Blanca,
is surrounded by two large natural saltwater lagoons, which
form the well-known “Salterns of Torrevieja”.
Just
30 minutes drive south of Alicante airport, and 35 minutes from
Murcia it is situated on the coastline of the crystal clear
waters of the Mediterranean where the beaches carry the European
Blue Flag ensuring pollution free bathing.
There are many local attractions; golf courses within 20 minutes
drive of the town centre, evening fun fair and night street
market, aqua park, casino, ten pin bowling alley, shopping centre,
boat trips from the marina. One of the largest open-air markets
is held every Friday. There is a harbour walkway which takes
you out to sea and provides a great view of the Torrevieja coastline.
For those requiring a more relaxing stay there are many bars,
restaurants and seating areas where you can just sit and watch
the sea gently roll in or people watch, and just let the days
slip by.
The town square is very picturesque. At Christmas it hosts a
magnificent Nativity scene, which covers a large proportion
of the square.
