Ten Pin Bowling Large ten pin bowling alley situated in the Ozone Complex - next to Las Habaneras shopping centre. Also in the complex you have a Casino, eating places and a Spanish cinema. Playa Flamenca Commercial Centre The Playa Flamenca Commercial centre is a large complex with bars, restaurants and shops. Enjoy the Blues Brothers? Then don't miss going to the Temple Bar where they perform 3-5 times per week. You have English, Chinese, Indian, Thai, Hungarian, Italian restaurants and an English supermarket and greetings card shop. Go-Karting Enjoy speed? Great for the kids and kids at heart. Torrevieja - Harbour Delfin S61 Submarine The “Delfin S61” – is situated in Torrevieja harbour. Built in 1973 and retired from active service 10 December 2003. It was donated to Torrevieja town council by the Minstry of Defence in February 2004. Take a tour of the boat, and sample what life would be like onboard. Playa Punta Prima Just 20-30 minutes walk from Los Altos this popular beach has a wooden hut during the summer months selling snacks and drinks. There is a fantastic Spanish restaurants - Punta Prima Restaurante that looks over the sea. Cala Ferris The palm fringed beach of Cala Ferris is located near the Nautilus restaurant, at Punta Prima. Semana Santa (Easter week celebrations) The pasos is carried proudly on the shoulders of the Costaleros. La Mata Long golden Sandy beach located North of Torrevieja. Lovely beach with bars and restaurants. Playa Flamenca Saturday Market Situated in Calle Nicolas Bussi. This market is held every Saturday morning throughout the year. Its in one very long flat road, so makes it easy to shop - so guys be warned!! Items include; clothes, shoes, rugs, ceramics, bedding, towels, gifts, fruit and veg, cosmetics, toiletries etc etc. A great market. Christmas decorations at Las Habaneras Shopping Centre La Finca Golf Course (Algorfa) Situated approx 15-20 minutes drive from the Orihuela Costa area. Lovely drive along roads lined with orange and lemon groves. The course is situated at the foot of Mount Escotera and opened in 2002. Par 72. 6,394 metres, 19 holes. Has a driving range, putting greens, chipping area, practice bunker. Cala Capitan Beach - Cabo Roig Situated at Cabo Roig. Popular beach in the summer. Lo Pagan Beach Situated 10-20 mins drive from Orihuela Costa (25-30 from Torrevieja town). Lovely beach, very popular with the Spanish. Toilet cubicles in the summer! Bars and restaurants along the front. Lo Pagan Beach - Costa Calida Lo Pagan is very popular for the mud flats - so if you fancy covering yourself from head to foot in mud then this is the place to come. Playa de las Higuericas - Torre de la Horadada Situated 5-10 mins drive from Orihuela Costa (15-20 from Torrevieja town). Long sandy beach. Villamartin Plaza Located at Villamartin. Variety of bars and restaurants. Very close to the golf course. Great atmosphere in the summer months - well worth a visit. Restaurants include Eduardos, Fairways. Playa Flamenca Beach Two coves, lovely golden sand. Bars, restaurants, shops including post office, Den Engel (lobster restaurant) newsagents. Guardamar Beach Guardamar beach, located 15 mins drive from the Orihuela Costa area. 10 mins from Torrevieja. Very popular and busy beach in the summer. Volleyball nets. Campomar Beach/Guardamar 15 mins drive from Orihuela Costa, 10 mins drive from Torrevieja. Park at the Campomar Hotel (which you can see on the right of the photo). Childrens play area. Very long sandy beach. You can walk to Guardamar beach which is lovely along the seashore, especially today, 6 February 2007, when we had the beach almost to ourselves, the sun was shining, temperature in the mid 20's and we were wearing jeans and t-shirt.
