2 bedroom, south facing ground floor apartment, sleeps 4, with optional air-conditioning, La Cinuelica, Phase 1, Los Altos
This property was brand new in 2004 and situated on a brand new development at Los Altos, which is situated 10 mins drive south of Torrevieja town, 50 kms from Alicante airport (approx 45 mins drive).
La Cinuelica is close to bars, restaurants and two supermarkets.
You enter the grounds of the property via a blue metal gate, which leads you onto the lower paved area, ideal for sunbathing, or parking your vehicle off the road. A flight of six steps leads you up to the large covered terraced area where an ornate wooden front door is located.
The front door leads straight into the Lounge/Diner area which is open plan, bright and airy. Both areas are furnished in a modern style with relaxing colours.
The sitting area contains a very large comfortable sofa with a yellow throw and coloured cushions, a large glass coffee table is placed in front for your use.
Facing this area is the television with Digital programmes - 25 English (sky films/sport) and 5 Spanish. A DVD player is also supplied for your use.
The dining area has an extendable dining table and chairs providing comfortable seating for four people. There is also a wall unit for those holiday novels and DVDs / CDs.
The well-equipped galley style kitchen is through the archway adjacent to the dining area and comprises a wide range of light tanned units with grey granite working surfaces and splash-backs.
Equipment includes a “rapid heat” ceramic hob, oven with rotisserie, microwave oven, electric kettle, toaster, electric filter coffee maker, large fridge freezer and electric steam iron with ironing board stored in the secured outside covered utility area where you will find a electric washing machine and blue easy wipe shelving units.
This area is ideal for drying your clothes on the supplied frame.
A set of crockery and glasses is provided, together with a wide range of pans and cooking equipment. Our intention is that you’ll find just about everything you would need in your kitchen at home, so you will be able to prepare meals comfortably in the apartment, should you wish to!
The “Pink” master bedroom is light and airy, with a window looking out to the rear. This bedroom has a double bed and two bedside tables with lamps. There are large His and Hers fitted wardrobes with lots of clothes hangers with shelves for your shoes and personal clothing. With overhead closets.
The “Green” bedroom contains two single beds and a bedside table and lamp. There are fitted wardrobes with lots of hangers, shelving with lots of room for your cases.
The bathroom is situated off the main living area, opposite the “Pink” bedroom. There is a bath, incorporating a shower and shower curtain.
The room is tiled from floor to ceiling in light brown pattern and white ceramic tiles and has a tiled floor. There is white washbasin set, with a mirror behind, toilet and bidet The room is lit by separate halogen and ceiling lights. An extractor fan is operated when the light switch is used. Cotton towels are provided.
The main covered terrace is situated beyond the sitting room and is reached via the front door.
South facing, the terrace benefits from direct sun from about 10:30am (depending on season) until sunset. The terrace is large with plenty of room.
Situated under the covered part of the terrace is an oval table seating four – so it is possible to have shelter from the sun whenever you wish. For those preferring to sunbathe, two sun-loungers are provided.
The owners consider the apartment very much as a “place to relax” as much as a holiday apartment and, as such, have insured that it is comfortable. We want you to enjoy your stay and hopefully wanting to return year after year whether you are on a short break out of season or on your annual summer leave.
The apartment has air-conditioning in the living room which can be reversed to heating throughout and also includes portable electric fans and heaters in each room.
The hot and cold air conditioning is an optional extra and priced at £20/€35 per week on top of the rental price.
There is a large communal pool with surrounding lawned area with trees.
The closest beach is Punta Prima (which has Blue Flag status) being approximately 1km. There are plenty of activities locally to keep you busy including: Horse Riding on the back of Andalusian or Hispano-Arab horses, Go Karting, Walking Nature reserves around the famous salt lakes of Torrevieja, Scuba diving, Jet Skiing, Wind Sailing and Golf being an example of opportunities available.
Two supermarkets within walking distance. Consum, Maxcoop / Todo Todo.
Plenty of restaurants in a 5 -10 minutes walk serving anything from pizzas, pastas, fish, steak, Indian, Chinese and English Sunday roasts!
For those who love to haggle why not try the large open air Spanish markets at: Torrevieja (Friday) Playa Flamenca (Saturday) Guardamar (Sunday).

Additional Information
A non-refundable booking deposit of 25% is required to secure booking.
The balance is required 8 weeks prior to arrival.
Prices are for up to 4 people.
The hot and cold air conditioning is an optional extra and priced at £20/€35 per week on top of the rental price.
Changeovers anyday of the week.
A welcome pack containing tea, coffee, sugar, milk, water, jam, bread, butter, eggs and bottle of wine can be provided for 15 Euros.
A refundable damage deposit of £100/€150, in cash is required at the start of the rental, and returned at the end of your stay subject to no damage or excess cleaning.
Beach towels, travel cot and high chair can be provided at an additional charge.
Credit or debit card payments accepted for this property. 5% to be added if paying by credit/debit card.
Airport transfers or car hire can be arranged.
Long lets available at 500 Euros per month to include bills (air-con not available).
If arriving at the property between the hours of 11.00pm and 08.00am an additional late arrival charge will be payable on arrival at the property.
