This apartment is located in Laguna Golf, a fantastic gated complex for couples and families. The urbanisation has a large communal pool, tennis court, 5 a side football court, children's play area with swings, slide etc and areas with benches to sit and relax. Walking distance to bars, restaurants and the Playa Flamenca Saturday market.

This is a very well equipped 1st floor apartment which is accessed by stairs or lift and comprises; Living/dining room, kitchen, galleria area, double bedroom, twin bedroom, bathroom, shower room, balcony, English tv channels, air conditioning.

The air-conditioned living/dining room has a 3 seater sofa, armchair, wooden coffee table, wooden occasional table, ceiling fan light, wall unit, wooden dining table and 4 chairs.

For entertainment you have a 40" flat screen Sony Bravia television with English channels and a DVD player (please bring your own DVD's to watch).

Off of the living/dining room you have a balcony with large patio table and 4 chairs where you can enjoy your breakfast, lunch, evening meal or a drink.

The well equipped kitchen has a dishwasher, large fridge/freezer, electric oven and ceramic hob, microwave, toaster, kettle, cutlery, crockery, cooking utensils, saucepans, glasses.

The washing machine and hot water heater are located in the galleria area off of the kitchen (there is a tumble dryer but should not be used by guests during the summer months).

The air-conditioned master bedroom, has a king size bed, large fitted wardrobe, drawers, 2 bedside chest of drawers, 2 lamps, chair, headboard. There are patio doors that lead from the bedroom onto the balcony. The master bedroom also has an en-suite bathroom with bath, over the bath shower, bidet, toilet, sink, vanity unit, mirror with lights and a linen basket.

The air-conditioned second bedroom has 2 single beds, large fitted wardrobe, headboards, 2 chest of drawers between the beds, lamp, roller blind, ceiling fan light.

The fully tiled main shower room has a sink, vanity unit with drawers and cupboard space, mirror with lights, shower tray with curtain and toilet.

Additional items in property: Clothes airer and pegs, games, hairdryer, iron, ironing board, tennis rackets, tennis balls (if you loose them please replace the balls), football, sun loungers.

Panasonic inverter air conditioning units have been installed in both bedrooms and living room - very economical. To use the air conditioning a meter has been installed and you are able to purchase €10 meter cards on your arrival.

Parking is available via the double remote operation gates to the underground car park or in the road outside the apartments.

Strictly no smoking in the apartment (smoking permitted on balcony only), no pets.

This apartment is suitable for families, golfers, couples and elderly.

You cannot view the pool from the property.

Beach towels, grocery packs can be provided if required, details on the booking form.

A car is recommended to explore the local area.

    Lots of areas to relax in this complex, this area is close to the children's play area, come and sit and read or just relax on the benches provided amongst the plants.

    Fully equipped fitted kitchen with large fridge/freezer, ceramic hob, electric oven, microwave, dishwasher (washing machine in galleria area - off of kitchen).

    The Area

    Walking distance from the property you have ….

    Several bars and restaurants - at the Parque del Duque Urbanisation you have Pablos International Bar, Cafeteria Concierto and Clarkes Bar. There is also a hairdressers.

    Across the road/bridge from the Parque del Duque bars and restaurants you have the Banana Tree Thai restaurant (one of our favourites!).

    Bar Horacio at Las Chismosas Urbanisation is in easy walking distance along with 2 excellent value for money Chinese restaurants (both serve great food).

    Also at Las Chismosas there is a bar with large swimming pool and crazy golf (€3) and evening entertainment.

    Saturday market at Playa Flamenca, not to be missed, easy walk to get to the market, road full of market stalls, less than 5 mins walk from property.

    The new sport centre is just a few mins walk (approx 5 mins), opened in November 2010 has an indoor swimming pool, tennis courts and football pitches.

    Citrus complex with The Friendly Bar, Wok Buffet, Tropicana, Poco Loco and other eating/drink establishments approx 20 mins walk.

    Located at La Zenia (approx 20-30 min walk) you have Zenia Boulevard Commercial Centre, which opened in September 2012 and is the largest shopping centre in the province of Alicante. It boasts 5,000 free parking spaces and 150 shops such as Primark, C&A, Lefties, Zara, H&M, Swarovski, Inside, Gerry Weber, Jack & Jones, Deichmann, Claire's, Bijou Brigitte, Adidas, Decathlon, jewellery shops, Leroy Merlin, mobile phone shops, Media Markt (electrical), florist, hairdressers, bowling alley, El Campo supermarket and petrol station which are all located on the ground floor. Restaurants are on the 1st floor and includes Muerde la Pasta which is an eat/drink as much as you like pasta/pizza restaurant with children’s ball park, Burger King, Foster’s Hollywood, Subway, Kebab Express, Wok Centre and a Children’s play area.     Playa Flamenca commercial centre, approx 35-40 mins walk. This is a large commercial centre with a variety of bars and restaurants, including Temple Bar with the Blues brothers, several Chinese restaurants, pizzeria, Diva’s Indian (as seen on TV), Hungarian, Irish and Scottish bars, Spud Murphy’s and King Kod Fish and Chips.

    Abbey Tavern pub and Gama English supermarket, approx 15 mins walk.

    Emerald Isle with live nightly entertainment in the summer approx 20-25 mins walk.

    Nearest beach is approx a 30 minute walk.

    Go-karting on the N332 with karts for juniors, adults and the Honda’s for those requiring greater speed.

    Mini golf at the La Mosca Commercial Centre (€5) also serve food, drinks and ice-cream (walking distance about 30 mins).

    There is a bus stop situated approximately 50 metres from the front of the property.

    Short driving distance from the property you have ….

    4 golf courses; La Finca at Algorfa, nice 20 mins drive through countryside with orange and lemon groves. Villamartin, Real Club Campoamor, Las Ramblas, all approx 10-15 mins drive.

    Torrevieja town is approximately 10 minutes drive, with a variety of restaurants, bars and shops. There is a promenade with market stalls, selling a variety of items. Nightly fun fair during the summer. The town comes alive at night during the summer months, where the main road is closed to traffic. There is a harbour where you can take boat rides and the Delfin S61 submarine.

    There are some great Spanish restaurants in Torrevieja town so you can have a great meal then enjoy the funfair and stallholders that set out their goods at night.

    There are several beaches within a 10 minute drive of the property including; La Mata, Playa Flamenca, La Zenia, Cabo Roig, Campoamor and Mil Palmeras.

    Las Habaneras shopping centre has 3 stories of shops (including C&A, Zara, English bookshop, H&M, shoe, jewellery shops) there are 2 stories of underground parking. The shopping centre is situated 10 minutes drive away.

    The Ozone complex with casino, ten pin bowling, crazy golf and restaurants (including KFC and a Wok Buffet Chinese) are a 10 minute drive away.

    Fast food establishments - McDonalds (Punta Marina Commercial Centre) and Burgerking (Playa Flamenca), are less than 5 minutes drive.

    There is a water park at Torrevieja (Aquopolis), open between June and September.

    Oz nightclub (was Pacha) is situated opposite the water park.

    If you enjoy football, FC Torrevieja's football ground is about 10 mins drive.

    Pitch and Putt course in Torrevieja, next to water park.

    Horse-riding at Campoamor and jet skiing off Campoamor beach during the summer months.

    A little further afield ….

    The historical towns of Cartegena, approx 45 mins drive.

    Murcia, approx 40 mins drive and Orihuela, approx 30 mins drive which make enjoyable days out as do the surrounding national parks.

    1 hours drive you have, Terra Mitica theme park. Terra Natura animal sactuary, Aqualandia water park, MundoMar sealife centre.

    Rio safari park at Elche approx 30 mins drive.

    There is a market everyday of the week on the Southern Costa Blanca. Two major ones are Playa Flamenca on a Saturday, approximately 5 minute walk.

    Torrevieja market is held on a Friday, and is probably the largest market in the area.

    A car is advisable if you wish to explore the surrounding area further.

    An airport pickup service can be arranged if required. Alicante airport is approximately 45 minutes drive, Murcia approximately 30 minutes drive.

    Car hire with airport transfer can be organised, on booking, if required.

    Go over the bridge with a large ornamental pond flowing beneath to the tennis court and 5 a side football pitch - only for use of the residents and guests of this complex.

    Additional Information

    Air conditioning available by meter cards, Panasonic Inverter units have been installed which are economical (if you have consumed part of a meter card we are unable to refund you any monies). Minimum of 1 card €10 per week. If your stay is 2 weeks then minimum €20 etc. If you are staying part of a week i.e. 10 nights minimum is €20 (no refund given on cards purchased). If you consume more than you have purchased meter cards for you will be required to pay the difference in electric usage.

    A non-refundable booking deposit of 25% is required to secure booking.

    The balance is required 8 weeks prior to arrival.

    Changeovers anyday of the week, subject to availability.

    A refundable damage deposit of £100/€150, in cash is required at the start of the rental, and returned at the end of your stay subject to no damage or excess cleaning.

    Euro payments accepted, please e-mail for prices.

    Rental payments can be made to a bank account in England in pound sterling or Euros to a Spanish bank account.

    Credit or debit card payments accepted for this property. 5% to be added if paying by credit/debit card (we use paypal).

    You will be met at the property with the keys, shown around, local area will be explained to you, any questions you may have will be answered. Keys will be collected at the end of your stay.

    You will be given a telephone number in case you have an emergency during your holiday.

    Grocery packs can be put in the property for your arrival. Ideal for late arrivals or Sundays out of season when the supermarkets are closed.

    Beach/pool towels can be provided at an additional charge.

    Baby equipment, we can recommend a local company for items.

    Car hire/airport transfer can be arranged if required.

    Directions will be e-mailed to you at least 2 weeks prior to your arrival.

    If arriving/departing the property between the hours of 11.00pm and 07.30am an additional key delivery/collection charge of €30 will be payable at the property.

    THERE ARE NO ADDITIONAL COSTS FOR CLEANING THE PROPERTY AT THE END OF YOUR HOLIDAY. UNLIKE MANY OPERATORS.
