This Granada apartment is situated at La Cinuelica, R1, Los Altos. There is a flight of spiral stairs that lead up to the property, situated on the second (top) floor (no lift) and is the end apartment, as shown in the photo. Keep going up the spiral staircase you come to the roof top solarium, for the sole use of guests staying in the apartment and has all day sunshine, ideal for sunbathers. There are views of the Mediterranean sea from the balcony and rooftop solarium.

On reaching the property entrance you have the balcony. The property is north facing so for the majority of the day the balcony is shaded (ideal for al fresco dining in the summer months). There is a table and four chairs.

On entering the front door you have the air conditioned living/dining room with 3 seater sofa, 2 occasional chairs, glass coffee table, sideboard, large mirror, pictures, TV with English TV channels and DVD player, window facing the front of the property with curtains. Wooden dining table and 4 chairs.

At the end of the living/dining room you have the fully tiled and fitted kitchen with fridge/freezer, electric hob and oven, kettle, microwave, toaster, saucepans, glasses, crockery and cutlery. There is a door from the kitchen leading out to the utility area with water heater and washing machine.

The main bedroom has air conditioning, a double bed, 2 bedside tables, 2 bedside lamps, window with curtains, fitted wardrobe, hangers, alarm clock, 2 blankets for the winter.

The twin bedroom, with air conditioning, has 2 single beds, fitted wardrobe, hangers, alarm clock and window with curtains.

The fully tiled bathroom has a bath with shower over, shower curtain, toilet, bidet, sink and mirror.

The private roof top solarium, which is not overlooked, boasts all day sunshine and has a sunlounger, chairs and parasol. The solarium has a view of the sea.

Bed linen and towels are provided (beach pool towels can be provided at an additional charge). No pets. No smoking in the property.

A car is not essential when staying at this property, but advisable if you wish to explore the surrounding area further.

An airport pickup service can be arranged if required. Alicante airport is approximately 45 minutes drive, Murcia approximately 30 minutes drive.

Want a car but find it daunting to drive from the airport? Airport transfer with car hire can be organised, on booking, if required, competitively priced and you won't need to hire such a large car for luggage (you are tranfered to accommodation and your vehicle is at the property).

The Area

Walking distance from the property you have ….

Several supermarkets including; Consum (2), Carrefour, Lidl, Aldi.

Consum supermarket at Los Altos is your closest, approx 5 mins walk.

There are many bars and restaurants within walking distance, including the commercial complex Via Park 3, approx 20 minute walk, with a variety of restaurants, including Spud Murphy’s fish and chip restaurant, Gran Chino Chinese, Ghandi Indian restaurant, Liberty’s Bar and grill. Several English bars, including Damo’s Irish bar, Angel's Bar, Welcome Inn, Lime Bar. A Quicksave English supermarket, Butterflies tea room, Rendezvous newspaper shop (also sells food) the Post Room which offers internet access.

Via Park 5, 25 minute walk, with Chinese restaurant, Stallions, the Cavern pub and a really nice wine bar – All Bar Sue. English supermarket and more English bars.

You can walk to the many restaurants at Punta Prima, which has 2 Chinese restaurants, (including Dinastia), Ghandi’s Indian restaurant, a German restaurant, Puccini’s Italian restaurant, Roberto’s. There are also several bars, many offering entertainment.

Patio Andaluz Spanish restaurant with lots of atmosphere and flamenco dancing 2 nights a week is located at the Punta Marina Commercial centre (booking is recommended for the Flamenca nights during the summer period - it is very popular).

Also at the Punta Marina commercial complex you have a Chinese Wok Buffet (eat as much as you like), La Piazza II, Captain's Table fish and chip restaurant and Subway sandwich bar. There is also a Consum supermarket, Shoe b Shoe (shoe shop), pharmacy, cosmetic shop, an electrical shop, English clothes shop, hairdressers, petrol station and McDonalds.

The Rocajuna bar, approx 25 minutes walk, holds a quiz every Friday evening, which is also fish and chip night and their function room has regular live entertainment.

The sandy beach of Punta Prima is closest to the property and (approx 15 minutes walk) and has a beach bar during the summer months.

Go-karting on the N332 is a 10 minute walk, with karts for juniors, adults and the Honda’s for those requiring greater speed.

Driving distance from the property you have ….

4 golf courses; La Finca at Algorfa, nice 20 mins drive through countryside with orange and lemon groves. Villamartin, Real Club Campoamor, Las Ramblas, all approx 10-15 mins drive.

Torrevieja town and marina is approximately 10 minutes drive, with a variety of restaurants, bars and shops. There is a promenade with market stalls, selling a variety of items. Nightly fun fair during the summer. The town comes alive at night during the summer months, where the main road is closed to traffic. There is a harbour where you can take boat rides and the Delfin S61 submarine.

There are some great Spanish restaurants in Torrevieja town so you can have a great meal then enjoy the funfair and stallholders that set out their goods at night.

There are several beaches within a 10 minute drive of the property; La Mata, Playa Flamenca, La Zenia, Cabo Roig, Campoamor and Mil Palmeras.

Las Habaneras shopping centre has 3 stories of shops (including C&A, Zara, English bookshop, H&M, shoe, jewellery shops) there are 2 stories of underground parking. The shopping centre is situated 8-10 minutes drive away.

The Ozone complex with casino, ten pin bowling and restaurants (including KFC) are a 8-10 minute drive away.

Fast food establishments - McDonalds (walking distance), Burgerking at Playa Flamenca.

There is a water park at Torrevieja (Aquopolis), open between June and September. Oz nightclub (was Pacha) is situated near the water park.

Horse-riding at Campoamor and jet skiing off Campoamor beach during the summer months.

Markets ….

There is a market every day of the week on the Southern Costa Blanca. Two major ones are Playa Flamenca on a Saturday, approximately 20 minute walk (10 minutes drive).

Torrevieja market is held on a Friday, and is probably the largest market in the area.

Transport ….

There are 2 bus services an hour to Torrevieja, and a local bus service to the beaches and down to Cabo Roig.

Additional Information

Air conditioning (living/dining room and both bedrooms) available at an additional charge, if required.

A non-refundable booking deposit of 25% is required to secure booking.

The balance is required 8 weeks prior to arrival.

Changeovers anyday of the week, subject to availability.

A refundable damage deposit of £100/€150, in cash is required at the start of the rental, and returned at the end of your stay subject to no damage or excess cleaning.

Euro payments accepted, please e-mail for prices.

Rental payments can be made to a bank account in England in pound sterling or Euros to a Spanish bank account.

Credit or debit card payments accepted for this property. 5% to be added if paying by credit/debit card (we use paypal).

You will be met at the property with the keys, shown around, local area will be explained to you, any questions you may have will be answered. Keys will be collected at the end of your stay.

You will be given a telephone number in case you have an emergency during your holiday.

Grocery packs can be put in the property for your arrival. Ideal for late arrivals or Sundays out of season when the supermarkets are closed.

Beach/pool towels can be provided at an additional charge.

Baby equipment, we can recommend a local company for items.

Car hire/airport transfer can be arranged if required.

Directions will be e-mailed to you at least 2 weeks prior to your arrival.

If arriving/departing the property between the hours of 11.30pm and 07.30am an additional key delivery/collection charge of €30 will be payable at the property.

THERE ARE NO ADDITIONAL COSTS FOR CLEANING THE PROPERTY AT THE END OF YOUR HOLIDAY. UNLIKE MANY OPERATORS.
