This Southerly facing 3 bedroom apartment is located on the 1st floor in Al Andalus 111, Los Altos and is located near the communal pool (photo below shows pool and location of property). The property is in easy walking distance to supermarkets and Via Park 3 commercial centre.

The property comprises; stairs leading up to the property, balcony, living/dining room, kitchen, double bedroom, 2 twin bedrooms, bathroom. External stairs then lead you up to the roof solarium. English tv channels (via communal satellite dish). Air conditioning in the living room (optional). Wi-fi (optional).

The balcony has a table and 4 chairs suitable for al fresco dining.

The living/dining room has 2 sofas, wooden coffee table, wall unit with ornaments, wooden dining table and four dining chairs. There are patio doors that lead out to the balcony.

There is a television with English TV channels.

The fully fitted and tiled kitchen has a large fridge/freezer, electric oven and hob, washing machine, microwave, toaster, kettle, mains gas hot water boiler, crockery, cutlery and cooking utensils. The kitchen has a window looking to the rear of the property.

There is a bathroom with bath and over bath shower, sink, vanity unit, mirror, toilet and bidet.

There are 3 bedrooms;

The master bedroom, with a view to the front of the property. It has a double bed, fitted wardrobe with hangers, 2 bedside cabinets with drawers, 2 bedside lamps, ceiling fan light.

The second bedroom has 2 single beds, wardrobe with hangers, 1 bedside cabinet with 2 drawers, a bedside lamp, wall attached fan.

The third bedroom has 2 single beds, ceiling fan, lamp, tall chest of drawers (6 drawers).

Up the external flight of stairs and you have the roof solarium which has views of the surrounding area.

The property has the use of a communal pool which is located near the property the area around the pool has been laid to astro turf.

Bed linen and 1 bath towel per guest will be provided. Beach/pool towels are available at an additional cost if required.

No smoking in the property, which also includes e-cigarettes/vapers. No pets. No teenage groups.

The property is not suitable for wheelchairs.

Parking is available on the road outside the property.

Groceries can be provided so if your flight arrives late, or if you would like a cup of tea before setting off to do your shopping then we can provide items for your arrival.

Supermarkets are generally open 09.00-21.00 Monday-Saturday. Carrefour, Al Campo and Supercor are open every Sunday.

The Area

Aldi (5-10 mins walk) and Consum (10-15 mins walk) supermarkets.

There are many bars and restaurants within walking distance including;

The commercial complex Via Park 3, 5 minute walk, with a variety of restaurants, including CK1, Dave's II, Kalimotxo (Spanish tapas), Gran Chino Chinese and an Indian/American restaurant. Several English bars, including Macklins Welcome Inn (snooker and pool tables), Doolan's Irish Bar, Lime Bar, Bar Next Door (darts and pool competitions), pharmacy, hair and beauty salon and the Post Room which offers internet access and an ATM machine.

Via Park 5, 10 minute walk with more bars and restaurants.

Emerald Isle with its summer nightly entertainment is a 15 minute walk.

Zeniamar commercial centre, approximately 25-30 mins walk with Blarneystone pub, Central Grill restaurant, Casa da Vinci Italian and English hairdressers.

You can walk to the many restaurants at Punta Prima (approx 30 mins walk), which has 2 Chinese restaurants, including Dinastia, Ghandi’s Indian restaurant, a German restaurant, Puccini’s Italian restaurant.

Patio Andaluz Spanish restaurant with lots of atmosphere and flamenco dancing 2 nights a week is located at the Punta Marina Commercial centre along with a Wok Buffet (Chinese eat as much as you like), McDonalds, La Piazza II (Italian), Yu (Chinese restaurant). Captain's table (fish and chips) Shops include; Milars (electrical), pharmacy, Druni (perfumery and cosmetics), Big Mens Casuals (mens larger size clothes shop), shoe shops and The Card Place (greetings cards/newsagents). There is also a Eurochange; currency exchange offering good rates of currency exchange.

The Altomar pizzeria restaurant is approx 20 mins walk (3 course menu del dia €9.90).

The Rocajuna bar, approx 30 minutes walk.

Punta Prima beach, is closest to the property and is a sandy beach with beach bar during the summer months, approximately 40 minute walk.

Go-karting on the N332 is about 40 minute walk, with karts for juniors, adults and the Honda’s for those requiring greater speed.

Located at La Zenia (approx 45 min walk or 8-10 minute drive) you have Zenia Boulevard Commercial Centre, which opened in September 2012 and is the largest shopping centre in the province of Alicante. It boasts 5,000 free parking spaces and 150 shops such as Primark, C&A, Lefties, Zara, H&M, Swarovski, Inside, Gerry Weber, Jack & Jones, Deichmann, Claire's, Bijou Brigitte, (fashion jewellery), Claire's, Adidas, Decathlon (sports), Druni (perfumery), Leroy Merlin (DIY), Media Markt (electrical), Game, bowling alley, Al Campo supermarket and petrol station. Shops are located on the ground floor. Restaurants are on the 1st floor and includes Muerde la Pasta which is an eat/drink as much as you like pasta/pizza restaurant with children’s ball park, Burger King, Foster’s Hollywood, Subway, Kebab Express, Good Rices (Pizza and paellas), Che Argentino!, Che Italiano, Chez Express, Chicken Ranch, Lizarran (bits on cocktail sticks and tapas), Wok Centre, Tommy Mels, 100 Montaditos (bar) and a Children’s play area. Driving distance from the property you have ….

4 golf courses; La Finca at Algorfa, nice 20 mins drive through countryside with orange and lemon groves. Villamartin, Real Club Campoamor, Las Ramblas, all approx 10-15 mins drive.

Torrevieja town is approximately 10 minutes drive, with a variety of restaurants, bars and shops. There is a promenade with market stalls, selling a variety of items. Nightly fun fair during the summer. The town comes alive at night during the summer months, where the main road is closed to traffic. There is a harbour where you can take boat rides and the Delfin S61 submarine.

There are some great Spanish restaurants in Torrevieja town so you can have a great meal then enjoy the funfair and stallholders that set out their goods at night.

There are several beaches within a 10 minute drive of the property; La Mata, Playa Flamenca, La Zenia, Cabo Roig, Campoamor and Mil Palmeras.

Las Habaneras shopping centre has 3 stories of shops (including C&A, Zara, English bookshop, H&M, shoe, jewellery shops) there are 2 stories of underground parking. The shopping centre is situated 10 minutes drive away.

The Ozone complex with casino, ten pin bowling and restaurants (including KFC) are a 10 minute drive away.

Fast food establishments - McDonalds at Punta Marina Commercial centre and Burgerking just off the N332 at Playa Flamenca.

There is a water park at Torrevieja (Aquopolis), open between June and September. Oz nightclub (was Pacha) is situated near the water park.

Horse-riding at Campoamor and jet skiing off Campoamor beach during the summer months.

Markets ….

There is a market everyday of the week on the Southern Costa Blanca. Two major ones are Playa Flamenca on a Saturday, approximately 40-45 minute walk (8-10 minutes drive).

Torrevieja market is held on a Friday, and is probably the largest market in the area and located near the Torrevieja bus station.

Transport ….

There are 2 bus services an hour to Torrevieja, and a local bus service to the beaches and to Cabo Roig.

There is a taxi rank at the Consum supermarket so obtaining a taxi is quite easy.

A car is advisable when staying at this property.

An airport pickup service can be arranged if required. Alicante airport is approximately 45 minutes drive, Murcia approximately 30 minutes drive.

Additional Information

Hot/cold air conditioning is available in the living room and priced at £15.00 per week if required.

Wi-fi is available and priced at £8.50 / €10.00 per week if required.

A non-refundable booking deposit of 25% is required to secure booking.

The balance is required 8 weeks prior to arrival.

Changeovers anyday of the week, subject to availability.

A refundable damage deposit of £100/€150, in cash is required at the start of the rental, and returned at the end of your stay subject to no damage or excess cleaning.

Euro payments accepted, please e-mail for prices.

Rental payments can be made to a bank account in England in pound sterling or Euros to a Spanish bank account.

Credit or debit card payments accepted for this property. 5% to be added if paying by credit/debit card (we use paypal).

You will be met at the property with the keys, shown around, local area will be explained to you, any questions you may have will be answered. Keys will be collected at the end of your stay.

You will be given a telephone number in case you have an emergency during your holiday.

Grocery packs can be put in the property for your arrival.

Beach/pool towels can be provided at an additional charge.

Baby equipment, we can recommend a local company for items.

Airport transfer can be arranged if required. We will give you a list of local car hire companies, on booking, if you wish to hire a car.

Directions will be e-mailed to you at least 2 weeks prior to your arrival.

If arriving/departing the property between the hours of 11.00pm and 07.30am an additional key delivery/collection charge of €30 will be payable at the property.

THERE ARE NO ADDITIONAL COSTS FOR CLEANING THE PROPERTY AT THE END OF YOUR HOLIDAY. UNLIKE MANY OPERATORS.

Arrival time is after 16.00hrs. If we have no-one departing the property on the day of your arrival you maybe able to have access from 12.00noon.

Departure time is 10.00am. If no-one is accommodating the property on the day of your departure, you maybe able to leave the property up until 17.00hrs.

If you want to guarantee a later departure time we would suggest you book an additional night. You can then depart the property anytime up until 22.00hrs on the day of your departure.
